Loved your tips! I have wanted to bring my own tools and polish in before but thought they might look at me weird or say no. Have you had any issues with brining your own things? Also, I have heard including Tea Tree Oil with your own supplies is a great way to help keep fungus and things at bay in the soak tub. Just add a few drops in the tub and try to relax and enjoy 🙂
I’ve never had a problem, and I think part of that is I go to a small salon where I’ve gotten to know the ladies and we appreciate each other (they appreciate me for my continued business, I appreciate them for letting me be weird like this).

So, I’ve long been troubled by a lot of the pitfalls of the salon mani and pedi, but haven’t taken steps to protect myself. But nowwww… you make it sound SO easy, that I really have no excuse, do I? Fine. Hmph. 🙂
