I have been AROUND THE BLOCK with natural deodorants, folks! I’m going to share with you the 3 best natural deodorants that I LOVE, right now.
It’s been almost 10 years since I started experimenting – a journey that included several DISASTROUS attempts to make my own (immortalized on this website somewhere), followed by a few years of just using a swipe of coconut oil + baking soda (SO many crunchy merit badges earned!)
I have landed on 3 favorites that fit my requirements NOW: SIMPLE/nontoxic (yes, I know that’s a buzzword *OH WELL*) INGREDIENTS, no staining of my clothes, and it needs to last a long time so I can justify the price tag. And of course, keeping me stink-free (or covering up my stink as needed).
NOTE: NOTHING natural is going to stop us from sweating completely. We need to sweat. Embrace it!
I use all 3 of these – rotating them seems to keep things working better than when I use just one type for the long-term. One lives in my bathroom, one in my closet, and one in my gym bag! I didn’t buy them all at once; I acquired them over time and started rotating them.
Here are my favorites. Please, if you can, shop through me by tapping my links! It helps keep this account up and running and I appreciate it SO, SO MUCH.

Agent Nateur Holi (Rose) deodorant. Rose just jives with my body chemistry like none other, and this one is a sure bet for keeping me stink-free all day. The formulation is super sheer, smooth, and light, and doesn’t get melty or sticky. This is my #1 favorite right now – I absolutely LOVE it! $26 for 1.7 oz
Primally Pure Blue Tansy or Charcoal deodorant. These work SO well at keeping stink at bay, and the baking soda doesn’t irritate my pits at all. I love this brand in general, and their deodorant doesn’t disappoint. The texture is a little heavier than the Agent Holi (Rose), but not as dense as Beautycounter’s Clean Deo. $16 for 1.7 oz; $23 for 2.5 oz
Beautycounter Clean Deo. Another rose standout (with a new Sequoia scent option), this deodorant is the most solid/dense of the bunch. The best part? It’s REFILLABLE! (And I love the packaging.) $31 for 2.1 oz
More suggestions (including more price-conscious options) welcome!
