Preparations are afoot for an impending visit from THE IN-LAWS!
This basically means I'm yelling at Husband a lot and vacuuming the dog to pre-empt having to vacuum the floors again.
Excuse the fuzzy photos – I had to juice up the camera today. With everything going on, the last thing I was thinking about Tuesday was food prep photos!
Breakfast: Husband made eggs & I topped them with avocado. Then off to the gardening center, which was fun for 50% of us.
Lunch: Sometimes it happens that lunch is spontaneous and unplanned. But this is absolutely no excuse to act like somebody unhinged your jaw and funneled Arby's down your throat! The most lame, ridiculous, pathetic excuse for not eating “clean” is that you didn't have time. There is a Starbucks and a grocery store on every corner, and they have everything you could possibly need. Today a big handful of almonds, a fruit mix and hard-boiled eggs from Starbucks were my best choice.
Dinner: A helping of my revised recipe for Sweet Parsnip Mash and some shredded pork from the crockpot – see the Hash recipe posted today. My only complaint about the Parsnip mash is that it's labor-intensive to make large batches and I'm bound to save enough for Husband to enjoy. I could eat this all day.
Today's Workout: A home-improvised mix of Overhead Squat practice, air squats facing the wall to improve my “thoracic inability” and Sumo Deadlift High Pulls.

I see you cut the better-half out of your first picture.
You’re vacuuming Cal? Poor, poor dog… but would appreciate pictures of that. Yell at your husband for me (thanks for calling me back this weekend brother!) and don’t stress about the in-laws!!!! Love you!
Huh?
That picture and the concept of vaccuuming your dog makes me giggle. A lot. I CAN’T WAIT FOR MY KITCHEN.
I wouldn’t vacuum a dog in your kitchen, Meghan! It would only complicate things!
I’m working on making that tomato sauce this week…I just had the weirdest feeling of deja vu…Have we discussed this before?
