Today's Workout: It was a “fun” day at the gym…We brought Sister-In-Law along for her intro to Crossfit and had a Tabata day. SIL LOVED it and will most likely be adding it to her Path. We spent about 10 minutes on our one-rep max for weighted push-ups. I have ONE full 7-1/2 lb. weighted pushup. (Mantra: one brick at a time. One. Brick. At. A. Time.) Never mind that my awesome WO partner Lindsay destroyed a 25-lb weighted pushup like it was actually lifting HER from the ground. Next was a good 16 minute stint of Tabata drills. Total time actively exercising: 26 minutes.
Breakfast: It's an ugly photo, but my FAVORITE way to start the day. The Sweet Potato n' Bacon Breakfast. Threw some sauteed green beans on there for good measure and sprinkled the lot with cinnamon.
Lunch: A big helping of Chicken Salad.
Snack: A handful of Jersey blueberries and strawberries and pistachios.
Dinner: Bison Chili and a helping of green beans. I made a double batch of Chili so we can enjoy the leftovers all week.
Sleep: Got about 8 hours – 9 is usually my sweet spot – but off-hours. We were celebrating SIL's 30th by staying up past midnight.
